Government extends match deadline for Pakistan

The federal government announced it is extending the timeframe for matching donations to flood relief in Pakistan to October 3. Millions of people still remain homeless as a result of flooding which covered approximately one-fifth of the country. Canadian Lutheran World Relief is working through ACTAlliance to bring relief, especially to women and children. To donate go to either www.lutheranchurchcanada.ca/donate or www.clwr.org/donate. Funds collected through LCC’s website are forwarded to CLWR.
