Call for Director of Domestic Missions

A committee including President Teuscher, Rev. M.L. Smith and members of the LCC Personnel Committee have completed a review and interview process for those nominated for the position of Director of Domestic Missions. Based on the recommendation of the committee, the LCC Board of Directors has issued a call to Rev. Jacob Quast.

Rev Quast has a B.A. from Concordia University and a B. Ed (Indigenous focus) from Queens University He received his MDiv. from Concordia Lutheran Seminary, Edmonton in 2003. 

After his vicarage at Redeemer, Kitimat, BC, he was placed at Prince of Peace, Peace River, Alberta where he served for five years before accepted the call to his current congregation, Church of the Lutheran Hour, Fort Frances, Ontario.  In 2012, the Fort Frances congregation entered into a dual-parish arrangement with St. Paul Lutheran Church, International Falls, Minnesota. Rev. Quast currently has a unique situation serving two congregations in two countries and two synods. 

Rev. Quast married his wife, Jolene in 1996 and they have three adult children.
