Hive of activity for children

WETASKIWIN, Alta. – Creating a beehive of excitement, Zion Lutheran Church’s vacation Bible school had 104 children zipping, zapping and zooming for Jesus.

Ingredients included music, games and—most important—instruction on Jesus’ life and works. With teamwork and Christian love, Rev. Lorne Manweiler and the group of more than 24 teachers, helpers and kitchen workers made the July days a buzzing success, as did generous gifts of food, money and time from congregation members. The children learned Jesus is their Saviour and best friend and we can share this good news with friends and others.
