CLS welcomes guest professor on missions and evangelism

EDMONTON – Concordia Lutheran Seminary welcomed Rev. Dr. Mark Press as guest professor for the September short term course “Theology of Mission and Evangelism.”

Dr. Press holds a doctorate in missiology from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. In addition to extensive parish ministry experience, he also served as faculty and director of the Oswald Hoffman School of Christian Outreach until his retirement.

The Theology of Missions and Evangelism course is intended as an introduction to the subject, focusing on its biblical roots and theological foundations, as well as a study of contemporary strategies, movements and trends with a focus on their practical application.
