CLTS unveils new logo, launches online store

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary (CLTS) announced the unveiling of its new logo in anticipation of their 50th anniversary in 2026.

“The old logo served us well for many years,” remarked CLTS President Thomas Winger. “But we wanted to update our image for the future.”

The fresh design includes an open Bible, the Greek cross, as well as a maple leaf. In a release, CLTS provides the following insights into the design and colour palette:

“The central image, an open Bible, symbolizes “the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” (2 Tim. 3:15). The Greek cross directs us to Christ crucified, the heartbeat of all preaching (1 Cor. 1:23). The maple leaf captures the essence of our Canadian mission. Our colour palette is equally meaningful: royal blue represents the kingdom of God (Mark 1:15); white signifies the righteousness of Christ (Rev. 7:14); and wheat embodies the harvest field (Matt. 9:36–38).”

The seminary also announced the launch of its online store with merchandise available highlighting the seminary’s new look.
