Final list of CLS presidential nominees

EDMONTON – Concordia Lutheran Seminary has announced the final list of candidates nominated for President, and their responses. In total, six candidates have accepted the nomination for President: Rev. Dr. Joel Biermann, Rev. Dr. James Gimbel, Rev. Dr. James Keller, Rev. Dr. John Maxfield, Rev. Dr. Joseph Randrianasolo, and Rev. Dr. Glenn Schaeffer.

Nominees had until August 15 to respond, meaning the article published in the July/August print edition of The Canadian Lutheran was unable to give the full list of candidates who had accepted the nomination. All comments regarding these nominees must be filed with the secretary of the Board of Regents before September 30, 2013. The election is scheduled for Friday, October 25, 2013.
