Join CLWR on a visit to the Holy Land

ISRAEL and PALESTINE – Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLSR) is inviting supporters to join them for a Global Encounter to the Holy Land February 19-March 3, 2014.

Participants will experience the religious heritage and rich culture of the region and meet with CLWR’s project partners in Israel and Palestine. Several of these partners, including the Augusta Victoria Hospital and the Lutheran World Federation’s Vocational Training Program, have been grateful recipients of We Care shipments.

There will be opportunities for Global Encounter participants to spend time in the Old City of Jerusalem and participate in a religious pilgrimage to other parts of the West Bank.

Registration and a deposit of $1000 are required by June 30, 2013 [Update: the deadline has been extended to September 16, 2013] to secure a position on the tour. Final cost for all accommodation, travel from a local airport, and all meals is expected to not exceed $6000 in total.
