LCC’s seminaries undergo ATS accreditation review

CANADA – Lutheran Church–Canada’s two seminaries are undergoing accreditation reviews this year with the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) in the United States and Canada. An evaluation committee from the ATS will be visiting Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary (St. Catharines, Ontario) March 10-13. Concordia Lutheran Seminary (Edmonton) will host an ATS evaluation committee a few weeks later on March 24-27.

Parties who wish to comment on the seminaries’ qualifications for accreditation are invited to do so in written form. These comments will be made available to the evaluation committee. The deadline for submissions regarding Concordia Lutheran Seminary (CLS) in Edmonton is January 15, 2014. Deadline for submissions regarding Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary (CLTS) in St. Catharines is March 5. In both cases, earlier submissions are encouraged.
