Share Gifts from the Heart with CLWR

CANADA – Each year, Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR)’s annual Gifts from the Heart fundraiser makes a difference in the lives of people the world over. Members of Lutheran Church–Canada (LCC) members are invited to join in that work this Christmas with an online gift.

“Your gifts have the power to change lives this Christmas!” CLWR writes. “Share God’s love with the world and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others with Gifts from the Heart!”

Gifts this year are organized under the categories of “Give hope in crisis;” “Give the gift of food;” “Give clean water;” “Give opportunity;” “Give the gift of healthy land;” and “Tiny hearts.”

The ongoing postal strike in Canada has impacted many peoples’ ability to give to charities as the year draws to a close, but CLWR wants you to know that you can give online. Visit www.clwr.org/gfth to browse the different gifts available; make a donation; and print off a card to share with someone whom you’ve given a gift in honour of. The website also has resources you can use to help share the work of CLWR’s Gifts from the Hearts with your congregation and friends.
