The Canadian Lutheran celebrates 50 issues with editor, Mathew Block!

CANADA – This September/October 2020 issue of The Canadian Lutheran magazine marks the 50^th issue of the magazine to be published under the editorship of Mathew Block. Block has a long history of communications work for Lutheran Church–Canada (LCC) and Confessional Lutheran church bodies worldwide.

He came into office in November 2011, and the first issue of 2012 marked  his first as editor—but his by-line had appeared in the publication well before that! In addition to his role as editor of LCC’s national publication, Block currently serves as Communications Manager for the International Lutheran Council (ILC), a position he formerly held for LCC as well.
