Training of lay persons continues

Students attended from local congregations and as far away as Minnedosa, Man. Classes were set up in modules with some attending all the modules and others attending only a few.
SASKATOON – At St. Paul’s Lutheran, 17 students attended Central District Theological Lay School for ten days, May 28-June 6 studying ethics, doctrine, practice, and conflict reconciliation. Instructors included Rev. Dr. Manfred Zeuch, president of Concordia Lutheran Seminary, Edmonton; Deacon Daryl Becker, ABC District executive for parish and school services; Lynn Gergens, director of youth and young adult ministries at Walnut Grove Lutheran Church, in Walnut Grove B.C. and Central District President Tom Prachar.
